We run regular clinics with trainers from all disciplines, with instructors returning regularly enabling them to get to know you and your horse, for the best possible benefit to yourselves.

The exciting addition of a full set of show jumps in October 2016 means we are able to offer regular show jumping clinics for both our liveries and external riders.

Please note – Once a clinic has been paid for we do not offer refunds unless we are able to fill your slot in the clinic (if we cancel the clinic due to instructor ill health or adverse weather conditions you will of course receive a refund)

 Cameron Beer – Flat/ Show Jumping Clinics

Cameron is a successful young eventer who has competed at 3*, having in the past competed in Open Intermediate Under 21 events. He won the National BUCS Equestrian Championship in 2017. His clinics have proven very popular with riders of all levels.  Equally effective with nervous or novice combinations as he is with keen experienced show jumpers his exceptional knowledge, sense of humour and hands on attitude keeps people coming back for more

Mandy Frost –  Show Jump clinics

Mandy Frost is an exciting new addition to our regular coaches here.

Mandy is a BS Accredited UKCC Level 3 Coach and Coach of the Year 2009 and also lead coach for Devon Junior Academy as well as being part of the Excel Coaching Programme.

Mandy had several wins in Young Riders classes and was also selected for training with Dick Stilwell (top trainer for potential young Rider team members). From there she started to compete nationally at county level producing her own horses from novices to Grade A. At this time she also began teaching showjumping at home to local riders on their own horses/ponies .

Always having enjoyed teaching as well as riding, Mandy applied to join a training programme with the British Showjumping Ass.(B.S.J.A.) to become a B.S.J.A. Accredited Coach, the criteria being to have competed successfully at National level and to have produced young horses from novice to top level (Grade A.). On being accepted, training was continuous for 3 years, with top Coaches Lars Sederholm (international Coach), Di Lampard (leading international lady rider and head of coaching) and Tony Newberry (international rider and Coach). Mandy achieved her accreditation in December 2004, receiving her award at the Olympia Horse Show in London.

Mandy has achieved qualifications for:-

Psychology for training horse and rider
Equine specific First Aid
BSJA Accredited Coach

Emma Cudd –  Showjumping Clinics

Emma Vine qualified accredited coach/accredited pony club instructor/BHSAI with over twenty years teaching experience teaching all abilities from beginners to riders competing in British Eventing and British Show Jumping Competitions.  She is passionate about teaching and aims to give her clients fun and constructive lessons, helping horse and rider partnership improve and build confidence. Emma describes herself as an enthusiastic, approachable, encouraging coach who wants to make lessons fun for the novice and challenging for the competitive rider to help you reach your full potential.

Emma’s passion for horses started as a child when she was an avid member of the East Devon Pony Club, after finishing school she went on to college and achieved her HND  in Equine Business Management.  After leaving college she worked as travelling groom for International Show Jumpers Graham and Tina Fletcher. During this time she developed a deeper knowledge of training showjumpers and also gained valuable riding experience, competing and producing young stock. On returning to Devon she continued her competing at BD/BS and BE and took on a new post of Manager at Bicton Arena  and spent a total of 8 years managing the development of the site to a full functioning competition centre boosting its events from just 12 to over 200 in the first year. On leaving this post then went back to full time teaching freelance/lecturing equine students at a local college and teaching local pony clubs.

Gail’s clinics with us fill up very quickly, so don’t miss out, book a space now! Known for her no-nonsense attitude and skilful eye Gail is highly sought after and we are pleased to have her here during the winter months

Gail can work with you if your horse is novice or nervous – or indeed if you are novice or nervous yourself and we will group you accordingly.  More advanced horse and rider combinations will be challenged by Gail to get the best out of you and your horse, ready to go out and compete

Tanya Nevile –  Show Jumping  Clinics

Tanya Nevile has over 20 years experience, and has trained with Pammy Hutton.  She has ridden at Advanced and 2* eventing and competed at Intermediare I making her a Group 3 dressage rider. Tanya coaches riders of all levels and has a sympathetic way of teaching which will get the best out of you and your horse.

Tanya regularly visits Rollestone,  building up a regular client base – once a fortnight for dressage training, and once a month for jumping training, . Her training clinics are open to all, please get in touch if you would like to book on
